On November 1st, my mother was 90 years old.  She has had some health set backs and really can't be alone anymore. Therefore, for the last seven months, I have been staying with her so she can remain at home.

I have no idea what I am going to tell all of you on this page.  Except for one thing.  I hope beyond reason, that you have been blessed, or anywhere near blessed, with a mother like I have.  Where do I begin with her attributes...

Mom is a ray of sunshine.  She is positive when she doesn't feel like it.  She can make you laugh and she can make you cry.  She doesn't set out to do that, but it can happen.  And there are times, when you laugh so hard you cry.  She has taught me about life.  Sometimes in the morning now, when it is cold and still pretty dark, I peek in and see that she is awake.  I go turn the coffee on and then I go back to help her out of bed.
